Oldschool oder Vintage ist gerade mega angesagt. Möbel mit Fehlern sind erlaubt, Holzwurmlöcher ein muss und Farbe die abblättert ein Trend. Ich selber bin Tischlermeister und noch aus einer Zeit, wo es für Holzfehler kein Geld vom Kunden gab. Holz muste damals wie eine Kunststoffoberfläche aussehen, ohne Struktur, ohne Charakter. Diese Zeiten sind zum Glück vorbei und Holz darf wieder aussehen wie es will, mit allen Details, die von Natur aus gegeben sind. Heute wollen alle Produkte mit einer eigenen Geschichte. Somit sind auch die Flaschen in der Holzkiste Oldschool. Mal sehn, wann die Holzkiste wieder im Getränkemarkt zu finden sein wird.
Oldschool and Vintage are just a megatrend. Furnitures with small defects are allowed, holes from timber worm are a must and color that flake off a trend. I have a master degree in joinery and started my carrer in times when wood defects were forbidden and no customer paid money if the product wasn´t perfect. Wood should look like plastic without structure and character. Those times are over and wood can look like the nature has created it. Nowadays customers want products with history and a story. So the bottles and the wood rack are oldschool and fit to our time exactly. We will see in future if we see the wood rack in beverage stores again.
