Design ist kein Prozess an derem Ende ein Produkt steht, sondern vielmehr die Art zu denken. Neues Ausprobieren steht an erster Stelle. Dieser Künstler an der Kunsthochschule in Berlin-Weißensee hat Rettungsdecken verklebt, eine Art begehbaren Kokon geschaffen und so die  Natur in Gold getaucht. Spektakulär. Man fühlt sich geborgen,, geschützt und versteckt, obwohl nur einige Micrometer Folie die Trennung zur Umgebung darstellen. Die jährliche Ausstellung der Abschlussarbeiten an der Kunsthochschule sind immer wieder eine Überraschung und einen Besuch wert.

Design isn´t a process with a product as a final result, it´s more a way of thinking. New ways and ideas are the priority in combination with permanent testing. The artist from the art college in Berlin – Weißensee has glued rescue blankets to creat a kind of a cocoon where you can step inside. In this way he dives the nature into gold. In this cocoon you get´s the feeling of security, shelter and hiding place even if it´s only less micrometer film between you and the environment. Awesome.

 

Diese tolle Kunstinstallation fanden wir im Skulpturengarten in Umea, Schweden. Außen aus polierten Edelstahl, spiegelt sich die Landschaft auf unendliche Weise wieder, bekommt eine Weite und Transparenz, dass einem fast der Atem stockt. Innen ist der Würfel mit einem Holzrelief versehen, als wenn man im Inneren eines Baumes sich befindet und nach außen schaut.

This great installation of art you can find the garten of sculptures in Umea, Sweden. Outside made from polished stainless steel, the landscape reflects itselves endlessly and gets transparency and wideness. That´s a very emotional moment . Inside of the cube all walls are decorated like trees. You get the feeling to look from inside of a tree to the landscape around you.

Menschen wollen sich ausdrücken, sich darstellen, sich mitteilen und die Gedanken und Gefühle mit anderen Menschen teilen. Deshalb spielt Kommunikation in unserem Leben aus eine so große Rolle. Wir kommunizieren im Internet, auf Papier oder mit Fotos und Vidoes. Dabei muss die Plattform nicht immer aufwendig sein. Es reicht auch einfach eine Holzplatte am Bauzaun, um die Menschen zum Schrieben und Malen zu bewegen. Vielleicht erkennt sich ja der eine oder andere Schöpfer wieder. People want express themselves, they want communicate and share their thoughts and feelings. That´s the reason why communication is so important in our life. We communicat over the internet, with paper and with pictures and videos. Therefor we don´t need a special or expensive platform. Sometimes a wood board is enough to inspire people for writing or painting. Maybe anyone is recognizing itself. We took the picture in Hamburg recently.
